The Bob Feist Invitational is celebrating 40 years of team roping excellence on June 19th, 2017 during the Wildest, Richest, Rodeo in the West in Reno, Nevada. The BFI, commonly known as “The Feist” is the largest one day open roping in the country. One hundred of the best teams in the country battle it out over five full go-round rounds for their chance at nearly $800,000 in cash and prizes. At the end of the day, the top fifteen teams on five head will advance to the short-round and from there the champions of “The Feist” will be crowned after the sixth steer is roped.

WRANGLER BFI WEEK. June 19th-22nd, 2017
The Wrangler BFI Week is celebration of roping at it’s finest. The Feist kicks off the week featuring the best open ropers in the world competing for their share of nearly $800,000 in cash and prizes. Number eleven ropers take the stage on Tuesday for the #11 Reno Million which pays out life changing cash to the champions of nearly two hundred and fifty teams. All caps and age limits are lifted for the #12 Desert Showdown on Wednesday which is the newest edition to the WBFI Week’s lineup. The ladies have moved down a day to Thursday, but the action is going to be worth the wait as the WBFI Week introduces the All-Girl Challenge! This mix of breakaway and team roping will showcase the women of our sport and along with great cash and prizes for the individual events, an All-Around cash bonus will be awarded to the woman who wins the most in both the breakaway and team roping combined.
