Angelone topped the field of cut-throat breakaway ropers at the 2023 Charlie 1 Horse All-Girl Breakaway Roping to kick off  BFI Week on Wednesday, March 29 at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, OK. It was only their second time roping together, but for Kenzie Kelton and Whitney DeSalvo, the pairing has been quite sweet. The star-studded cast entered in the 46th annual Bob Feist Invitational on April 1 in Guthrie, Oklahoma, includes the only four humans who’ve won the BFI three times. BFI to Pay Back One Hundred Percent

Is this an April Fool’s Joke? Not hardly. For the first time in history, the Bob Feist Invitational on April 1 will pay back 100 percent of the pot to ropers. It’s Legendary, It’s Prestigious, It’s the Bob Feist Invitational

In 2021 Kory Koontz became a member of an elite club-a club of 3 time Bob Feist Invitational winners. With wins in 2021, 1996 and 1995 Koontz officially ranked among other BFI Legends Rich Skelton and Clay Tryan, who have also won three titles each. This win also pushed Koontz to the top of BFI earning leaderboards, with over $240,000 won over the course of his career. Koontz explained he couldn't have reached these historic accolades on his own. He graciously accredits his many great partners and horses.
